IN MEMORIAM: COR WIJBENGA
Met groot verdriet en diepe verslagenheid delen wij mee dat onze zeer gewaardeerde collega, Cor Wijbenga, op 62-jarige leeftijd is overleden. Cor was meer dan vier decennia lang een drijvende kracht binnen ons bedrijf, en zijn plotselinge heengaan laat een onuitwisbare leegte achter bij zowel zijn familie als zijn collega’s en allen die het voorrecht hadden met hem samen te werken.

In a significant stride towards sustainable and renewable chemistry, FIB Industries is proud to announce its pivotal role in the collaboration with Avantium, a leader in the field of renewable chemistry based in Amsterdam. This partnership has led to the creation of the world’s first commercial-scale facility for producing FDCA (furandicarboxylic acid), a key ingredient in the revolutionary plant-based and recyclable plastic, PEF (polyethylene furanoate).
