FIB Industries proudly announces the successful completion of our internal TIG/MIG welding course by five exceptional colleagues, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering skill and excellence within our team.
Journey to mastery: The welding course experience
The fall of 2023 saw these dedicated individuals embark on a comprehensive journey of welding mastery under the guidance of esteemed Senior Welding Technician Hans van der Sluijs and Master Welder Durk Koezema. This rigorous program combined theoretical knowledge with practical application, culminating in a qualification test weld in December. Their outstanding performance not only met but exceeded the stringent requirements of both ASME and EN 9606 standards for TIG and MIG welding processes, showcasing their dedication and expertise.
Celebrating achievement: Graduation and recognition
A ceremony, marked by pride and accomplishment, was held to honor these talented individuals. They were awarded their welding certificates in the presence of their mentors and Plant Manager Richard De Vries, symbolizing their hard-earned success.
FIB Industries takes immense pride in our in-house welding courses, which have consistently enabled our team members to evolve from novices to expert welders proficient in a variety of techniques and materials, particularly stainless steel.
Richard De Vries expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “At FIB Industries BV, we are dedicated to the ongoing training and education of our employees, nurturing them into highly skilled professionals. Witnessing the growth and zeal of both our trainees and their mentors is truly inspiring.”
